Hello All,

I cannot believe I will be back in Toronto this soon, after the last event. This time, I will be there for the Toronto Tea Festival! If you have never been to a Tea Festival, it is an opportunity to try all kinds of specialized teas from around the world, Green, white, Matcha, and a host of Black teas.

I am actually coming there earlier in the week as my son Trevor Whitridge moved to Toronto to attend the Jazz program. He’s an amazing trumpeter and piano player. He’s playing at Dovercourt House. So... If you love dancing, get your shoes and come join me on the dance floor!

The whole reason I started the Chai venture was to support my boys' music endeavors when they were young.

                   Toronto Tea Festival 

Infuse your morning chai with freshly made organic spices. Trudy Ann’s Bombay Masala Chai is a blend of Assam Black tea and various aromatic Indian Spices. Add full fat fresh cream for a richer taste. You can add butter or coconut oil in this tea if you are fasting.
A warm cup of this Indian Masala Chai can soothe the back of your throat with some extra ginger.

Radish with Coconut

On a recent visit to India, my brother’s chef Manju made me lots of delicious low carb vegetarian dishes. I choose to eat a lot of dark vegetables because they also seem to do well for my inflammation. Manju spoilt me with her delicate dishes. Use this recipe with spinach, kale, chard, radish. This recipe is my adaptation of Manju’s recipe which I made with Radish, using the leaves as well.
