Friends, this is an old staple recipe of mine. Something I have made since I first started cooking. I make this weekly and ate it daily since I was a child. For those of you on a low carb diet, red lentils are higher in carbs so try substituting with sprouted mung beans.
Try smaller portions too if you are watching the carbs. Add ghee or fat on top to satiate you, plus it tastes better ;-)
