Hello friends,
I am writing after a very long time. Some events reopened after a 3 year hiatus. I decided to participate in local Vancouver events this season. I am hoping to see many of your smiling faces.
If you are unable to attend these events, I still offer online ordering, as well as local pick up in East Vancouver from my residence, to help you save on rising shipping costs.
I spent these past few years learning many "Do it yourself" projects from making soaps, candles, fermentation of foods, curing meats, pickling and canning !
The one thing I am most proud of is that I finally grew my own vegetables. I managed to grow bitter melon too, which I was told would not grown in Vancouver. I learnt that re- steeped tea with garlic is great as a natural deterrent for some garden pests. I feel we all can grow even if it is sprouts in our kitchen and begin to create little a Garden of Eden.
I spend a lot of time in prayer and meditation for God's guidance in this very troubled world. I have learnt to proceed really slowly and the slower I go, the more grace and wisdom I seem to acquire. I challenged myself to learn many Gregorian chants in Latin!
Patience can truly have rewards.
My blessings to all of you,
"Start somewhere but start. Love yourself. Spread that light to others. It’s contagious."
Hugs always,
Trudy Ann
