Description
Assam Black Tea is grown and harvested in the tea estates of Assam, located in northeast India. This area is the largest tea-growing region in the world producing some of the finest teas. This Organic Assam tea has a rich taste and a strong bold aroma with a malty flavour. Assam Black Tea gives a full-bodied, reddish bright brew and is perfect to have at any time of the day. The addition of milk will enhance the flavours of Assam Chai making it more subtle. Teas that are grown at high altitude are known to be highly aromatic and may be rich in antioxidants. You can add spices or mint leaves to this Assam Black Tea for a slight twist in flavour. This particular cut of black is great for making Kombucha. This is an incredibly delicious tea! I first discovered it at Trudy Ann’s stall in Vancouver’s West End Farmer’s Market and haven’t looked back. Great flavour. I will continue to buy it for as long as Trudy Ann sells it! :)
Trudy Ann –
Thank you Sarah and I am so glad you love it! I miss seeing you at the farmers markets.
